LBC Senior Living Acquires Wingate Residences In Norton

NORTON, MA — LCB Senior Living, an independent and assisted living company based in Norwood, has acquired Wingate Residences in Norton, which has been renamed The Residence at Great Woods and will undergo many renovations and upgrades over the next year.

The Residence at Great Woods, located at 190 Mansfield Ave., will continue to offer individualized assisted living services to residents while they reside independently in a private apartment. The company will also eventually at its Reflections Memory Care program, which promotes cognitive and emotional health using a non-pharmacological approach.

“We could not be happier to welcome the associates and residents in Norton to the LCB family,” said LCB CEO Michael A. Stoller in a statement. “We’re looking forward to providing our new residents with excellent hospitality and a safe, fulfilling lifestyle; two hallmarks of the LCB experience.”

Renovations to the facility will include new furniture and fixtures, apartment common area upgrades, and window replacements. Residents will also be able to participate in the expansive engagement program, which provides daily opportunities for physical activity, art, music, lectures, and social events, and the Always Available dining program, which provides meals made by professional chefs.

LCB Senior Living is partnered with CVS Health affiliate Omnicare to provide residents with the COVID-19 vaccine and has implemented safety procedures at every facility to ensure the safety of its residents.
