Fall placement now available for afterschool program in Norton
PBK will pick up your child from their Norton school for afterschool program. Limited spaces available
The afterschool care program at Personal Best Karate is now accepting Fall registrations for their popular program, with limited spots available. Being able to provide transportation from the Norton public schools to their karate school for afterschool care has been helpful for working parents, especially since care is available until 6 p.m.
Students are picked up from the LG Nourse, JC Solomonese, Yelle and Norton Middle Schools in the Personal Best mini-bus and brought to the karate school on Route 123, 250 East Main Street in Norton. The children have their own afterschool care area available, where they have snack and may delve into homework or other activities
One of the biggest draws to the program, however, is the fun and camaraderie it brings - and parents are happy their children aren’t stuck to their iPad after school

“The afterschool program is very popular because parents know their children are in a safe environment, but the kids are having fun with the other students in team building activities – they aren’t sitting on handheld devices all afternoon,” explained Program Director Kim Guccione. “They have time to do homework and read; but they also spend time playing games with the other students, working on character building activities and even doing some martial arts.”
Parent Christine Johnson agrees with Guccione and is happy with the staff at the school. “My daughter enjoys the program and the staff. The Personal Best staff is amazing and the skills and life lessons they teach are terrific,” said Johnson. “I would recommend the program to anyone especially those considering trying karate for the first time.”

Children need not be Personal Best Karate members to be enrolled in the afterschool care program, but they can participate in physical games and martial arts to keep on track with healthy living.
Limited spots are available for the program and the first date of the program is the first day of school. Personal Best Karate is located at 250 East Main Street, in Norton, on Route 123 and can be contacted at 508.285.5425. More information on the program can be found at www.pbkafterschoolprogram.com.
