Norton Students Receive $1,000 Scholarships From Dunkin' Donuts Franchisees

Dunkin' Donuts awarded Bristol County students with $1,000 scholarships at an annual luncheon held on Thursday, June 22.

On Thursday, June 22nd, the Rhode Island and Bristol County Massachusetts Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees held a luncheon to honor 100 students who were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship. The luncheon was held at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center where students were able to mingle and personally meet the franchisees responsible for providing them with scholarships. Michaela Johnson, Co-host of The Rhode Show on WPRI was the special guest speaker. During her speech, she gave insight as to what the students could expect during college and their young adult lives.

Since launching the program in 1996, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees have provided more than $2 million in tuition assistance to local students - demonstrating the franchisees’ long-standing commitment to supporting youth and education programs in their communities. This was the 22nd annual Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarship Program.
