Memorial Bench and Tree to be Dedicated Tomorrow for Angel Pina

A memorial tree and bench will be dedicated in honor of Angel Pina tomorrow at H.A. Yelle Elementary School at 4:30 p.m.

Pina died nearly one year ago in a car crash on Rt. 24 North near the Stoughton-Avon line. She would've been a student at Norton Middle School this year.

The Board of Selectmen approved the bench back in May after Pina's mother, Sandra Oullette, requested it.

“A lot of her friends hung out there,” Oullette told the Selectmen. “It was something special to the kids.”

The bench was made possible through the donations of many people, Oullette said.
