Norton Girls Track Team Excels At State Relays

The girls track team finished 3rd in state behind Tewksbury and Milton HS.

Placing third behind Tewksbury and Milton HS the Norton Girls team placed in the top 6 in 6 events. There were 40 Schools from the State who attenede the DIvision 4 Massacusetts State Relays Friday night at the Reggie Center in Boston.

The 4 x 800 relay team of Julia Palin, Shelly Belcher, Kambryn Bowman and Katie Bradley placed 2nd overall, The 4 x 200 team of Bella Berardi, Brook-Lynn Williams, Cece Browne and Kirsten Loring placed 1st and made a new school record. The 4 x 400 team of Berardi, Palin, Bowman and Bradley came in 2nd place and the Long Jump team of Berardi, Bowman and WIlliams came in 3rd overall.

Last year both the boys and girls team won this prestigous meet.
