NORTON, MA — The Norton and North Attleboro Fire Departments have collaborated to form a joint dive team that will respond to local water emergencies, reported The Sun Chronicle.
The dive team currently has 13 members and will respond when requested for mutual aid at no additional cost to taxpayers, according to North Attleboro Fire Chief Chris Coleman.
Divers from fire departments worked on their skills in the North Attleboro Hockomock YMCA earlier this month.
