Norton Weather: 4 Inches of Snow, Rainout Coming
A spring snowstorm dropped 4 inches on Norton; rain is on the way later this week.

NORTON, MA — Norton rang in spring with 4 inches of snow.
The first day of spring was Sunday, when snow developed at night and forced Norton school officials to cancel classes. Schools will reopen Tuesday.

The snow caused delays at Logan Airport. Few crashes were reported on major highways. Worcester received the most snow with about 7.5 inches.

Looking ahead to Norton's weather forecast later this week, rain will set in. Here's the latest forecast:
- Tuesday: Sunny and windy. High of 48 degrees, low 39.
- Wednesday: Chance of rain. High 55, low 35.
- Thursday: Chance of rain. High 53, low 36.
- Friday: Rain likely. High 54, low 34.
