WATCH: Working Hard at the Trent Memorial
Selectmen Chair Robert Kimball digging deep for the memorial.
Not only is the Gold Star Committee going out and collecting funds for the memorial to Sgt. Gregory Trent, but they're getting their hands dirty as well.
"We'd like to say we're doing as much as we can," goldstar vice chair Robert Kimball said.
He said he and members of the committee have gone out several times to work on the project themselves.

The memorial was announced in the fall of 2012, and has been going strong ever since. Kimball said he was working on one of the posts because it just, at the time, didn't look right to him.
"I went out there and decided I was going to rearrange it," he said. "I've been basically involved in this whole project. I've asked others to help and to ask others to help you've got to it yourself too. I'm a hands on kind of person myself, so it's right up my alley."
