PGA Tournament Staying in Norton, Getting New Name
Next year, the Deutsche Bank Championship will go by a new name.

NORTON, MA — After some speculation about the future of the Deutsche Bank Championship, the tournament will be back next year as a FedExCup Playoff event and with a new name.
The PGA announced that EMC will become the new title sponsor of the Labor Day tournament. This will be Deutsche Bank's final year as the main sponsor. The official name of the tournament will be announced at a later date.
We are extremely grateful to Deutsche Bank for its dedication and commitment to building the Deutsche Bank Championship into a premier event on the PGA TOUR and an exceptionally worthy component of the FedExCup Playoffs,” PGA Deputy Commissioner Jay Monahan said in a release. “We look forward to celebrating a highly successful final week with Deutsche Bank before transitioning to EMC as the new title sponsor.”
