Track Team beats Medway HS

Double winners for Track and Field team

Congratulations to the girls and boys track and field team who beat Medway Thursday night 46 to 40 and 45 to 40.
Top finishers of the night:
Corey Stalters in the 55 hurdles with a State qualifying time of 8.11 and took second place in the 55 meters (7.27), Paul Wisnaskas with a high jump of 5'10"and took second in the hurdles(8.8), Austin Carroll in the 1000 (2.42), Peter Rivard in the 55 meters(7.15), and the 4 x 400 relay team of Rivard, CJ Liebherr, DJ Nihill and Wisnaskas. James Macnaught placed 2nd in shot put (34'6"), and Sean Wynne took 2nd in the mile (4.49.9)
For the girls team
Hannah Delea won the 2 mile (13.22) and was runner up in the mile (6.00), Bella Pietrasiewicz the mile (5:19)and 1000 (3.18), Michaela Whiteside won shot put with a 31'5" throw and teammate Amanda Hamer-Moreno took second (28'61/2"), Julia Newell won the 55 meters (7.78) and Kirsten Loring the 300 meters (45.98).

Athletes are running in Boston Sunday for a Statewide meet.
