Norton, MA — Norton's 2016 July 4th celebration is Monday, when liquor stores will be open but post offices closed.

Also, all municipal offices are closed; supermarkets are open.

  • Municipal, state, federal offices: Closed
  • Retail stores: Open at owner’s discretion
  • Liquor stores: Open
  • Supermarkets: Open
  • Convenience stores: Open
  • Taverns, bars: Open
  • Banks: Closed
  • Libraries: Closed
  • Stock market: Closed
  • Mail: Post offices closed; express delivery only
  • MBTA: Beginning at 2 p.m., subway service on all lines will operate at rush-hour levels to accommodate increased holiday ridership. Fares will not be collected after 9:30 p.m.
