42 Percent Of Norwood Residents Received At Least 1 Vaccine Dose

67 percent of Norwood's residents over age 75 have received both doses, according to the state's data.

NORWOOD, MA — More than 1,900 of Norwood's oldest residents have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state’s data. Roughly a 25 percent of Norwood residents as a whole are fully vaccinated, up from 21 percent last week.

Roughly 17 percent of the town's residents have received just the first dose. About 55 percent residents ages 65 to 74 are fully vaccinated, and 27 percent in that age group have received just their first dose.

Norwood reported 80 cases of coronavirus in the two weeks leading up to the state report released Thursday, placing it in the "yellow" zone.
