On Tuesday and Wednesday night MassDOT will perform bridge maintenance operations on I-95 over the Neponset River in Norwood.
Dean Street had been closed since the end of July for construction on the bridge.
The work is expected to take about 12 weeks to complete.
No one was injured, police said.
The road had to be closed to get the truck out.
The ban goes into effect on Nov. 15.
More than 800 people died in drunken crashes over the Thanksgiving weekend between 2012 and 2016, according to MADD.
Any vehicle parked on the street or in municipal lots overnight are subject to a $20 fine for each violation.
The wind may not be as bad this time around, but the power lines are still coming down in Norwood.
