5 Things to Know: June 26, Batch Reads, Cross Training and More

Today's Weather: Today there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 12 p.m.  Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 86.  For tonight, more showers with a low around 66, according to The National Weather Service.

1. Norwood Hospital, 800 Washington St. in Norwood, will have their Senior Supper Program at 4:45 p.m.  The dinner costs $5.50.

2. Anyone interested in Norwood Youth Soccer can register at 1315 Washington St. in Norwood.  The deadline to register is June 30. Visit "www.norwoodsoccer.com" and click "Registration" for more information.

3. And there will be an Adult Cross Training program at 111 Morgan Dr. in Norwood.  The program starts at 10:30 a.m. and costs $17 to join.

4. The Morrill Memorial Library, 33 Walpole St. in Norwood, will have a free Batch Reads event at 10 a.m.  Registration is not required.
