NORWOOD, MA — An asphalt truck caught fire in the middle of the road in Norwood on Thursday afternoon. Police and fire crews quickly handled the incident, that sent plumes of smoke billowing into the air.
The fire happened on Pleasant Street at Sunset Avenue in town. Norwood police temporarily shut down one lane of traffic while fire crews put out the blaze.
No word on what caused the fire or if anyone was injured.
