Broken Holiday Lights? Where to Recycle Them in Norwood

The Norwood Recycling Department is offering two drop off sites from now until Jan. 31.

Did you pull out the holiday lights from last year only to find broken bulbs and burnt out fuses? The Norwood Recycling Department is offering two drop off collection sites for outdated or broken holiday lights now through Jan. 31.

Holiday (Christmas incandescent, LED) lights have copper and plastics that can be collected, recovered and recycled, if they are diverted to a separate designated recycling program.

Lights can be dropped off at the Department of Public Works Administrative Offices Lobby from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, or at the Winter Street Composting Site on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
