Meet Summary:

Norwood improved their record to 3-1 with yesterday's victory over Dedham, 96-74. Our goal for this meet was to put together our strongest relays. As a result, several relays qualified for sectional and state tournaments. Captains Eddie Hernon and Evelyn Metta went 1-2 in the long distance event, the 500 yard freestyle. Juniors Marguerite Lee and Tessa Maguire swam personal best times in their events. Others showed their versatility by swimming events that are not their specialties. Juniors Anthony Rodriguez, Nick Gaetani, Charlotte Rivard and Senior Captain Alex Metta all came away with wins. Juniors Matt Piasecki, Shannon Bonner, Rachel Mullen, Katherine Osborne, and sophomore Meg Norton continue to improve, scoring points for the Mustangs. The divers (Kristen Folan, MacKenzie Begley, and Brianna Whalen), as in the first three meets, outscored their opponents and continue to be a strength for our team.
