Coronavirus: Norwood Town Offices To Stay Closed Until May
Norwood town offices will stay closed until May 4.
NORWOOD, MA — Norwood's town offices will stay closed until May 4 to limit the potential spread of the new coronavirus. Town officials said the re-opening date is subject to change.
While town offices will be closed to the public, most town hall services available by appointment on a case-by-case basis, residents can call (781) 762-1240. Public Works and Light Department buildings will be closed to the public, but staff will be available at both facilities to see residents on an appointment basis.
Norwood's Town Election was also postponed to a later date to be decided by the Board of Selectmen.

Gov. Bakers announced on Monday that the "surge" in coronavirus patients in Massachusetts is expected in mid-April. As of Monday, Massachusetts had 5,752 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 58 deaths.
