The groundhog saw his shadow, so that means Spring is on the way....right?

1. The speedy drop in temperature has made for some seriously icy conditions. Use caution when driving or walking.
2. The Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce is holding a forum on employee classification from 8:00-9:00 a.m. at the Norwood office. Attorney John Tocci, of Tocci, Goss & Lee, P.C. in Boston will be speaking at the program, which is open to HR professionals, owners, managers and all who deal with HR issues from businesses of all sizes.
3. The Candy Workshop scheduled for last night at has been moved to next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Learn how to make chocolate candies, lollipops and chocolate molds that could turn out to be a thoughtful Valentine’s gift or a nice treat for birthday parties. All materials provided. There's still space to register! Cost is $18 per person, call to register.

4. The boys varsity basketball game against Framingham that was set for Tuesday night has been rescheduled for tonight at 6:45 p.m.
5. There will be a Super Bowl fundraiser for NHS baseball at Olde Colonial Café on Sunday. Tickets cost $20 per person, available in advance or at the door.
