1. There will be a candidate forum tonight at the Town Hall at 7 p.m. sponsored by the League of Women Voters. All local candidates have been invited, and the public is encouraged to attend!

2. Win tickets to London to watch New England Patriots take on St. Louis Rams at Wembley Stadium on October 28. Tickets available until 2 p.m. on Friday October 19. Proceeds will benefit Zoltan Mesko Foundation.

3. It doesn’t matter if you’re Lady Gaga or Lady Liberty for Halloween—if you have an awesome costume, showcase your creation in our Best Halloween Costume in America Contest. Enter our contest for a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize! Adults and children are eligible to enter. Parents can post costume photos of themselves and their families from this Halloween or from years past.

4. Senior Bowling is offered every Thursday at the Norwood Sports Center at 9:30 a.m. This is a mixed league and three strings are played for $6.

5. Buy your tickets now for St. Catherine's Stump! Trivia Night on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person. You can come as an individual and be placed on a team or you can register as a team of 10. Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. A cash bar of beer and wine will be available.
