Heat Can't Stop 2018 Norwood 4th Of July Parade
The 5K was called off, but the parade went on as planned.

NORWOOD, MA — The heat may have been a challenge, but the Norwood 4th of July parade went on as planned early Wednesday evening.
Norwood's annual tradition saw the usual displays of patriotism, bands, and performers, but the high temperatures did have an impact on the day. The Firecracker 5K which was scheduled for before the parade was called off. Members of the New York-based drum and bugle corps the Saints Brigade needed IV fluids prior to the Norwood march.
