Kennedy Public House Coming to Norwood

Norwood getting a new Irish restaurant.

Norwood is getting a new Irish-styled pub next week.

Set to open at the Hampton Inn, the Kennedy Public House is coming from a group of pub owners with a tradition.

“It’s going to be awesome, right there next to the golf course,” said manager of Mick Morgan’s in Sharon Craig DeCosta.

The company, owned by Mick Morgan and Finbar Griffin, has locations in Newton, Sharon and Cambridge. DeCosta said this restaurant is going to be a bit more upscale than their other restaurants.

“It’s going to be a little different menu, just because it’s in a hotel,” he said. “It’s built off the same basic concept, the menu has a little more upscale items, but you can still go in and get nachos and a burger.”
