Matt Brown Will Race in NYC Marathon
At first NYC Marathon officials did not want Matt Brown to enter the race. But on Thursday they changed their minds.
Earlier this week it was reported that Matt Brown was denied entry into the NYC Marathon because he was unable to power himself.
However, on Thursday race officials changed their minds and is now allowing both Brown and veteran Lucas Carr to enter the race, according to FOX 25.
"NYRR is allowing Mr. Carr and Matt Brown in the race this year given our special efforts to recognize and show solidarity with Boston," race officials told Fox 25.
