New Function Hall Coming To Norwood

Tuesday night, the selectmen approved the liquor and common victualler​ license for Little Bird Events, to be located at 83 Morse St.

NORWOOD, MA — Birthday parties, work functions, and classes will have a new space to go to in Norwood.

Tuesday night, the selectmen approved the liquor and common victualler license for Little Bird Events, to be located at 83 Morse St. Manager Angela Marenghi told the selectmen that she hopes to use the function space for birthdays, bridal showers, corporate meetings, workshops and more.

Marenghi comes to Norwood after spending five years as an events manager for a private family in Brookline. She also has experience running events for a restaurant in Cambridge and helped launch a bakery in the same city.

She said she also hopes to bring workshops to her space for personal and professional development geared towards women and others like resume writing, wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, photography, floral arraigning.

Marenghi said she expects to have events five days a week and most of the workshops should take place between 6-8 p.m.
