Nor'easter Prompts Norwood Closures, Snow Plows The Hit Streets
Well over a foot of snow is expected to fall in Massachusetts over the next 36 hours.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood is bracing for the incoming nor'easter to throw a blanket of snow over the town and is closing town offices and the Norwood Memorial Airport by 1 p.m. on Monday.
Norwood Town Hall, Morrill Memorial Library, Norwood Memorial Airport, the Civic Center, the John J. Carroll Administration Building where the Norwood DPW is based, and Norwood Light Electric & Broadband buildings will close at 1 p.m.
Town staff will be working from home and be available via phone and email. Residents can still call Town Hall at 781-762-1240 or the Citizen Information Center at 781-352-2363. Police, fire, DPW, and electric services will continue as normal.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 7-15 inches of wet, heavy snow, with the coast and Cape and Islands receiving just a coating. A winter storm warning is in effect throughout the state.
