Norwood 2020 Annual Election Results
All but one race was uncontested on the ballot.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood held its annual town election on Monday. Even though all but one of the races on the ballot were uncontested, the town saw 18 percent of registered voters hit the polls, that means just over 3,500 ballots were cast.
The only uncontested race was the race for two positions on the Board of Selectmen. The four-way race was won by Helen Abdallah Donohue who earned 1,323 votes and Matthew Lane who earned 2,154 votes.
This election was the first year that the town implemented "no touch elections" in light of the coronavirus pandemic. Voters were given a bag upon their arrival containing a mask, gloves and a pen to mark their votes. Booths used by voters were frequently sanitized throughout the day, and election workers sat behind plexiglass shields.
