Norwood High Featured in Massachusetts Hockey History Movie
The film takes a look at the "golden era" of hockey in Massachusetts, an era where the Arlington Spy Ponders were dominant.
ARLINGTON, MA — Hockey is arguably the bay state's most popular sport, and back in the 1960s and 1970s, Arlington High School was one of the best hockey programs. A new film set to be released on Dec. 10 focuses on that era as the "Golden Era" of hockey in the Bay State.
The film entitled "Banner Years: The Golden Era of Hockey in Massachusetts" is set to be screened for the first time at the historic Norwood Theatre. There are also two screenings planned for Arlington's Regent Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 18.
