Norwood High To Get Visit From New England Patriot

New England Patriot Chase Winovich will help hand out breakfast in the school to kick-off the new grab-and-go breakfast program debut.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood High School students are in for quite the surprise as New England Patriot Chase Winovich is set to help hand out breakfast in the school to kick-off the new Grab-n-Go breakfast program debut on Wednesday.

Grab-N-Go programs continue to grow in popularity across the nation. These programs allow students easier access to nutritious foods to start their day by meeting them in heavily-trafficked areas before classes begin, or occasionally in-between morning classes. Once students have their healthy foods of choice, they can eat on their way to class or during the first class period.

Winovich, New England Patriots Defensive End, and local dairy farmer Charlie Tully, Tully Farm, will surprise students with a breakfast-time visit. The first week of March marks National School Breakfast Week, a time when schools, students, and stakeholders can celebrate the progress and improvements being made in school nutrition programs.
