Norwood Hospital Receives 200 Lunches From Pharmaceutical Company

Corbus Pharmaceuticals donated masks and 200 lunches to Norwood hospital staff.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood-based company, Corbus Pharmaceuticals, donated masks and 200 lunches to the staff at Norwood Hospital to support health care workers and staff who are on the front lines of providing care amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Norwood Hospital is accepting donations of personal protective equipment as more patients are admitted and staff are more vulnerable. Corbus donated the equipment and lunches as a way to say thank you to the hospital staff in Norwood.

"We are hoping this will encourage members of the community to think of various ways to help essential workers at their local hospital," Corbus said in an email.

As of the week of March 30, Norwood Hospital is most in need of:

  • Tyvek suits - SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE and EXTRA LARGE
  • Medical grade gloves – MEDIUM and LARGE

Anyone interested in dropping off donations, can visit the Draper Lobby entrance, along Washington Street, and drop off to the Wellness Greeters just inside the doors.
