Norwood Hospital Staff Receive Free Lunch As 'Thank You'

NORWOOD, MA — Staff at Norwood Hospital were given a special kind of thank you on Wednesday when they were gifted free lunch. Norwood is one of seven hospitals in New England receiving Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled sandwiches.

The hospitals receive 16 X-Large Papa Gino’s Cheese Pizzas or 5 D’Angelo’s Sandwich Boxes that include 10 sandwiches each to dedicated doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers. The donations were be carried out using proper social distancing practices, No-Contact Delivery, and in coordination with each facility’s designated representatives.

This program is an extension of Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo’s ongoing community giving programs. Both brands reward everyday heroes monthly with free food deliveries, including first responders, teachers and animal rescue workers, who are essential to their communities.
