Norwood Man Victim of Plane Crash

This afternoon, Brewster Police identified the victims of as Oulton Hues, 73, of Edgartown and Norwood and Robert Walker, 68, of East Falmouth.

The two people aboard the small aircraft heading from Martha's Vineyard to Hyannis were found dead yesterday by a Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Cape Cod and a Brewster Fire Department crew at Saint’s Landing in Brewster, Mass.

The Brewster Fire Department located the first person and the helicopter crew found the second person, according to a U.S. Coast Guard press release.

The plane left from the Martha's Vineyard airport Sunday morning en route to Hyannis. There was a call to the FAA around 10 a.m. with reports of smoke in the cabin and a search began around 10:30 a.m. after all contact with the plane was lost.

According to the Cape Cod Times, Hues was an instructor and a part-time resident of Edgartown and Norwood, while Walker, a resident of East Falmouth and a co-owner of the plane, had a pilot's license but was training for advanced certification.
