Norwood Man Wins Two 'Lucky for Life' Prizes in the Same Day
The lucky winner claimed a pair of checks on Thursday for $390,000 each.

A Norwood man was a winner of two $25,000 a Year for Life prizes in a “Lucky for Life” drawing on Monday.
Kenneth J. Stokes of Norwood chose the cash option on his winning tickets and picked up a pair of checks for $390,000 each (before taxes) at Massachusetts Lottery headquarters in Braintree on Thursday.
Stokes said he will use the winnings to pay for his son’s college tuition, his daughter’s car payments and will use the money to take his family on vacation.

A Massachusetts Lottery representative notified Stokes on Monday that his season ticket won a $25,000 a Year for Life prize.
Stokes then realized he forgot about a season ticket he received as a gift from his family.He played the second ticket in that evening’s drawing and won.

Stokes bought the season ticket at Sulgrave News, 417 Washington St. in Boston.
The second winning ticket was bought at Convenience Food Mart, 492 Walpole St. in Norwood. Both stores will receive a $5,000 bonus on its sale.
