Anna E. "Betty" (Hill) Waal, 88, of Norwood, died peacefully at her home on December 15, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and caring friend Alice. She was the wife of the late George Waal. Betty enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children, Jeffrey C. Waal and his wife Eleanor of Cohasset , Stephen D. Waal and his wife Cheryl of FL and David R. Waal of Norwood. Preceded in death by her son George Waal, Jr. and her grandson Brian. She was the sister of the late Charles and Donald Hill. Betty is survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (RT 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 19 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 a.m. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
