Jean E. (Perrello) Wimer, 71, of Norwood, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Norwood after a long illness with ALS. She was the mother of Cynthia J. Harfst of RI, Doreen Sparks of Blackstone, Darlene Sparks of Norwood, the sister of Ralph Perrello of Norwood, Vivian Franko of Dedham, Grace Kurps of Westwood, and the late Jimmy Perrello, grandmother of Billy Harfst of RI, Mandy Harfst of Palmer, Shannon Sparks of Quincy, Chelsea Sparks of Quincy, and David Sparks of Norwood, great-grandmother of Kayla Sparks and the aunt of Justine Franko of Dedham. She was also the aunt of the late Jerry Kenney.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood. Interment will follow the service in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wed., Oct. 3 from 9-11 a.m., prior to the service.
