Josephine M. (Pegurri) O'Donnell, 85, of Norwood, Jan. 2.

She was born in Boston, on April 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Ferdinando Pegurri and Josephine (Piantoni). She worked as an Executive Secretary at Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Co. in Hyde Park for over 25 years. Josephine was the wife of the late Paul J. O'Donnell, the mother of the late Paul O'Donnell, and the sister of the late Frederic Pegurri, Mary Spicer and Perine Trumble. She was the aunt of nephews, Frederic Pegurri and his wife Denise of Holbrook, Ronald Pegurri and his wife Elaine, Richard Pegurri and his wife Bonnie, all of Weymouth, and Carolyn and her husband Dale DeRoos of Idaho, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood, on Friday Jan. 4 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Josephine's memory to the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, Boston Office, 600 Washington Street, Boston, MA 02111.
