8:22 a.m. - Caller reported a motor vehicle accident at Neponset St. and Norton Dr. Two vehicles towed from the scene, no personal injury reported.

10:21 a.m. - Caller on Bellevue Ave. reported a grave marker stolen from cemetary. Police filed a report.

1:30 p.m. - A patient in the emergency room at Norwood Hospital reported larceny of her pocketbook. Police filed a report.

3:53 p.m. - Caller reported a hit and run in the parking lot of Norwood Hospital. Police filed a report.

5:10 p.m. - Caller on Oxford Rd. reported five youths in the rear of the building smoking marijuana. Responding officers filed a report, no arrests made.

5:24 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported her credit card and license stolen at Petco on Boston-Providence Highway. Police filed a report.

Saturday, October 6

9:15 a.m. - Caller on Norwest Dr. reported vandalism to vehicle, stated three holes in car. Police filed a report.

12:20 p.m. - Caller asked for a log entry for a bronze marker stolen from a grave at Highland Cemetary in the last two weeks.

1:58 p.m. - Police received calls from two parties involved in a fight near the Balch School. Responding officers spoke to both, filed application for criminal complaint/summons.

4:56 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported iPhone and cash stolen on Washington St. Police filed a report.

5:25 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported jewelry missing from a home on Quail Run. Police filed a report.

9:55 p.m. - Caller reported loud party on High St. Responding officers placed two intoxicated youths into protective custody and released them to their parents.

Sunday, October 7

12:35 a.m. - Caller on Walnut Ave. reported she was assaulted by her roommate. As a result, police arrested Daragh J. Leavey, of Norwood, for assault and battery.

2:30 p.m. - Caller at Green Star Insulation on Endicott St. reported property and vehicles damaged. Police filed a report.

7:17 p.m. - Caller reported a disturbance in a residence on Dean St. As a result, responding officers arrested Russell Flynne, of Norwood, for assault and battery.

Monday, October 8

12:32 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported someone took electronics from his home on Sturtevant Ave. Police filed a report.

3:00 p.m. - Caller reported shoplifting at Hannaford's market on Walpole St. Stated male and female fled after stealing baby formula. Police filed a report.
