Norwood Police Offer Women's Self Defense Classes
Classes will be offered for three days in March.
NORWOOD, MA — Norwood Police Department is once again offering self defense classes for women. Lining up with Women's History Month, the three-class series will be offered in March.
The department sues a system course called RAD or Rape Aggression Defense. The course teaches women preventative measures to stay safe as well as hands-on defensive tactics. The class is only available to women over 18 or over 16 with a parent or guardian's permission.
Classes are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and cost $20. The dates are scheduled for:
