Norwood Police Search For Missing Man

The man went missing Tuesday morning and has mental health issues.

NORWOOD, MA — Norwood police are looking for a man who went missing Tuesday morning. Police said Francis Connolly hasn't been seen since a day program he attended in Norwood at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Connolly suffers from mental health issues, police said, and when off his medication can be violent to himself and others.

Connolly is a 69-year-old white man, five feet and nine inches tall and about 220 pounds with a white beard and long white hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, white shoes, a jean jacket with a brown coat over it and a multicolored winter hat.

Police said from past experience with him, Connolly may have left the state and do not believe he is still in Norwood. Police stressed that Connolly did not commit a crime, they only want to get him medical treatment.
