Norwood Resident Hired by ClearRock
Michael Fitzgerald has joined ClearRock, Inc., a Boston-based career transition coaching firm, as a Career Consultant.

From ClearRock: Michael Fitzgerald has joined ClearRock, Inc., a Boston-based career transition, outplacement, leadership development, and executive coaching firm, as a Career Consultant.
In his role, Fitzgerald will provide one-on-one career consulting to individuals in job transition helping them reflect on their past and plan for a productive and meaningful future.
“Mike brings more than 20 years of experience as a career consultant and executive coach working with senior level business leaders in virtually all industry sectors,” said Laura Poisson, President, ClearRock. “Mike is passionate about helping individuals identify and express their hopes, values, and sense of mission to help them strengthen and enhance the alignment of these areas with their careers, and we are thrilled to have him join ClearRock.”

Fitzgerald, who lives in Norwood, Massachusetts, comes to ClearRock from Gatti & Associates where he served as a Senior Vice President/Executive Search Consultant for the last twenty-two years. While there, he developed expertise in partnering with clients and candidates nationwide, with a focus in the areas of technology, life sciences, professional services and higher education. Fitzgerald previously served as Director of Diversity at Boston College High School and continues to have a strong commitment to the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Fitzgerald is a former President of the Human Resources Council and currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Jesuit-affiliated Contemplative Leaders in Action program, which is dedicated to developing the leadership capabilities of young professionals who seek to align their values and sense of mission with their careers and personal lives. He is the first recipient of the Bob Gatti Mentor of the Year Award, given by the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).
Fitzgerald earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Saint John Fisher College and earned two Master of Arts degrees – one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Leslie College and one in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College. As a person who embraces challenges that enhance health and fitness, Fitzgerald has successfully completed 14 marathons, (including 12 Boston Marathons), and he is a practitioner of kickboxing and yoga.
