Norwood's own Ali Maloof was named Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher of the Year last week for her contributions on the Southern New Hampshire University softball team.
Maloof was also named on the First-Team All-Conference.

The pitcher has a 16-6 record the Penmen and has collected 207.

She holds a 1.64 earned run average in the conference, while allowing just 46 runs in 157.2 innings pitched so far this season.
Maloof has struck out more than 10 batters in 11 games this season, including a season-high 13 strikeouts twice.
She joins head coach, Deb Robitaille, who was named Coach of the Year, and teammates Kelsea Cheney (Abington, Mass.) and Lindsey Bolduc (Londonderry, N.H.) who were named to the Third-Team All-Conference.
