The town is transitioning back to step one of phase three of the business reopening plan.
NORWOOD, MA — After three consecutive weeks being deemed a "high risk" community for COVID-19, Norwood is transitioning back to step one of the Phase 3 reopening plan.
Norwood had a total of 754 COVID-19 cases as of Oct. 29. The state deems any community with more than eight cases per 100,000 residents a "red zone" or high risk.
Going back to step one of Phase 3 means closing indoor theaters, roller skating rinks and obstacle courses. Restaurants are still allowed to have music performances indoors but no wind or brass instruments or singing is allowed.
