NORWOOD, MA — Tis the season to move your car before you head to bed. That's right, November means Norwood's winter parking ban will officially take effect.
The ban starts on Nov. 15 and lasts through April 1. The bylaw prohibits overnight street parking to make it easier for snow plow and salt trucks to cover the roads. Street parking is banned from midnight until 6 a.m.
Cars found parked overnight on the street or in town-owned lots will be towed at the owners expense.
