Norwood's Castle Island Wins Gold At U.S. Open Beer Championship
Castle Island Brewing took the top spot in the American Lager/Pilsner division.
NORWOOD, MA — A Norwood brewery has taken home a gold medal at the 2018 U.S. Open Beer Championship.
Castle Island Brewing took the top spot in the American Lager/Pilsner division. The competition in Ohio saw breweries submit more than 6,300 beers in 110 different styles.
Castle Island found their Norwood home in March 2015 and began construction that September. They have been open since December 2015. A tap room at the brewery was opened last year.+
