Obituary: Sean Patrick Hannon, 31, Longtime Norwood Resident

Sean Patrick Hannon, longtime Norwood resident, passed away on Aug. 25, 2014 at the age of 31.

Sean was an avid fisherman and loved movies, music and all Boston sports. He loved animals, especially his dog “Brinks” whom he had recently rescued.

Beloved son of Mary (Mescall) Hannon and the late John M. Hannon; loving brother of Casey E. Hannon of Bellingham, Colleen M. (Hannon) Olsen and her husband James Jr. of Amesbury and Cara E. Hannon and her fiancé John Koslosky of Whitman; cherished uncle and godfather of Aidan John Hannon; dear grandson of Bridget Mescall of Cambridge and the late Patrick Mescall and John and Noreen Hannon. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 9 a.m. from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy’s Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday, Sept. 1 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
