NORWOOD, MA — A Norwood business will be in front of the selectmen for the second time in less than a year for an alleged liquor license violation.
The board voted Tuesday to hold a public hearing for the alleged violation committed by Acapulco’s Mexican Family Restaurant on Route 1. The board was notified by Police Chief William Brooks that the restaurant was the only establishment to fail an April 15 compliance check. Fourteen other establishments passed.
Police say an employee for the restaurant served an underage person alcohol, a violation of the establishment's liquor license and state law.
