Rt. 1 Restaurant Near Norwood Line Closes

WALPOLE, MA — The British Beer Company on Route 1 South in Walpole has closed, according to reports.

The chain recently announced that they closed their Walpole location on Christmas Eve. The closure is because the company couldn't reach an agreement with their landlord, according to a post on their Facebook page seen by Boston Restaurant Talk.

As of Dec. 26, the Facebook page has been taken down.

The restaurant was located across the street from the Walpole Mall, just past the Norwood town line.

British Beer Company's other Massachusetts locations are in Cedarville, Danvers, Falmouth, Framingham, Franklin, Hyannis, Pembroke, Plymouth, Sandwich, Westford, and Worcester.
