School of Rock to perform Sunday the 23rd at Limey's Pub in downtown Norwood
Local music school - School of Rock/Norwood - is putting on a concert at Limey's Pub in downtown Norwood this Sunday the 23rd at 1:30pm

School of Rock, located at 1250 Washington Street in Norwood, will be putting on a concert this Sunday at Limey’s Pub (659 Washington Street) in Norwood. There will be two performances that afternoon. The Rock 101 Group will be performing at 1:30pm. Rock 101 is for beginning to moderate skill levels. Then, the Performance Group will be playing at 3:00pm. They are the more advanced players. The theme of this show is “Grunge & Punk” featuring the music of bands like Nirvana, Green Day, Sex Pistols and The Pixies.
School of Rock, the largest performance based music school franchise in the country, has been locally owned and operated in Norwood since March of 2013. They focus on performance based programs, placing new and experienced musicians in group formats to accelerate the learning curve while providing them with self confidence that the thrill of live performances can bring. The school motto is “Teaching kids to rock on stage and in life!”
With almost 3,800 square feet of dedicated music space, the facility has a full stage area for shows/performances complete with stage lighting and full PA along with a second group rehearsal room, 7 private lesson rooms and a student lounge.
