Weekend Police Logs, Feb. 10-13

Highlights from the daily police logs.

Thursday, Feb. 10:

7:30 a.m. - A resident on Pleasant St. reports hearing an animal in her attic. Norwood Police and Animal Control responded and handled the situation.

9:11 a.m. - Caller reported a license plate stolen from a motor vehicle on Chapel St. The missing plate number was entered into the system.

4:19 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported harassment incident with a male party at Norwood High School. Police filed a report.

Friday, Feb. 11:

7:58 a.m. - Caller on Pleasant St. reported two unwanted parties in the house that should be removed. Officers responded and transported from premises.

1:13 p.m. - Police received a report of larceny at the Norwood High School. Officers filed a report but the safety officer will handle.

Saturday, Feb. 12:

2:55 a.m. - Police received a BOLO from Walpole for a possible OUI. Said the vehicle left a gas station on Route 1 and was driving erratically. Area search found nothing.

8:24 p.m. - Caller reported a hit and run at Morse and Pleasant Streets. Officers filed a report.

10:07 p.m. - Police took one female into protective custody after receiving a call for a disturbance on Nahatan St. Released into the custody of a friend.

Sunday, Feb. 13:

12:30 a.m. - A caller on Fulton St. reported a drunk family member. The party was placed into protective custody and released to another family member.

8:24 a.m. - Caller on Dean St. reported a breaking and entering. Found pry marks on the rear door. Officers filed a report.

9:14 a.m. - A breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported on Oliver St. The party reported the tool box on a truck broken into overnight.

3:01 p.m. - A business on Rock St. called to report a client being combative towards the staff. Norwood Fire transported to the hospital with police following. A report was filed.
