This Valentine's weekend menu includes appetizer and dessert specials meant to be shared for two. Enjoy their choice filet mignon or slow roasted osso buco, designed for this weekend's special menu by Chef Peter Dexter. Located on Route 1 in Norwood this is a great local option for a romantic dinner with that special someone.
Sky Restaurant is another locale offering special Valentine's Day dishes all this weekend. Entrees include a slow roasted prime rib, braised Australian lamb shank and a fresh Maine lobster pot pie. Each entree is also listed with a wine pairing suggestion. And for dessert? House-made chocolate truffles.
If you’re looking to get out of town, yet not drive to far, there are a number of eatiers in the Dedham area. Aquitaine is one of them, located in the heart of Legacy Place. Appetizer options include fondue and escargots, and entrees range from chicken to seafood to pasta. The restaurant also has a raw bar, and the dim lighting might provide for the perfect Valentine’s Day dinner.

Not Your Average Joe's: This one comes recommended to Norwood Patch by a member of our Moms' Council. Today through Monday, any bottle of wine is only $20 for couples making Valentine's reservations. They also feature a special menu including a spinach and carmelized pear salad, a New York strip steak with cognac sauce or herbed goat cheese stuffed chicken. Finish it all off with a flourless chocolate torte drizzled in raspberry sauce. The nearest location is in Needham.
The Chateau Norwood: You could also check out The Chateau, which is offering a number of Valentine’s Day specials, including a wine and drink special, as well as a lobster bisque appetizer. Entrees being featured on Monday include veal chicken and ravioli dishes, as well as Angus Prime Rib. And, for those of you with a sweet tooth, carrot cake will be the featured desert.
