$10 Million Lottery Ticket Sold In Peabody

PEABODY, MA — A $10 million scratch ticket was recently sold in Peabody.

The Massachusetts State Lottery said the "$10,000,000 Gold" instant game ticket was sold at Town Variety on Central Street.

Rainbow Trust of Boston claimed the prize and selected the cash option for the prize and received $6.5 million before taxes.

Town Variety owners will share in the success as well as store owners will receive a $50,000 bonus for selling the grand prize ticket.
